Comprised of athletes and artistes, the troupe have been performing under the Moscow State banner since the '50s, although their latest production, Babushkin Sekret (or 'grandmother's secret') has been in full flow since 2011. Based on the Russian folklore and story, The Twelve Chairs, a tale of hidden family treasure including jewels and a set of rare antique chairs. The show is adapted from the Ilf and Petrov novel of the same name and includes breath-taking choreography, visually stunning stage sets and a huge cast of artistes performing within a specially-constructed rig. Acrobatics, a spinning chandelier, jugglers, catapults and, of course, clowns should keep most fidgety kids happy and parents delighted.
