After last week's first line-up announcement of Kate Thornton being confirmed as your host, alongside dancers Emmerdale's Lisa Riley, cricketer Michael Vaughan and Tracy Beaker herself, Dani Harmer, another big name has been persuaded to join the throng.
Team GB Olympian Louis Smith is normally associated with gymnastics, in particular the impossible-looking pommel horse routines that won him two London Olympic 2012 medals, a silver and a bronze. Now he will be swivelling his hips, shaking his booty and wearing an altogether different uniform as he sashays his way around the big arenas.
On joining the Strictly Come Dancing 2013 UK tour, Louis Smith said:
The support I've had on the TV show has been incredible. I can't believe how much I've enjoyed dancing every week. I love the pressure of performing in front of a live crowd, and I can't wait to do that in some of the biggest arenas across the UK.
The tour begins with three nights at the NIA in Birmingham from 18th January, followed by dates in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, London and many more. We still have tickets left for the tour but be warned - it's selling fast! Prices weigh in at around £35 upwards.
