Danny and co miss out on top slot but will still sell out handful of shows next year, tickets on sale Friday 21st September
The Script

Recently you will remember our news of some intimate shows starring none other than The Script. Not surprisingly, and to the annoyance of many a disappointed fan, the trio sold out the, er, trio in minutes. The good news, predictably, is the announcement of a far larger arena tour for the spring. Now doesn't that make you feel a little better?

The shows will begin in Nottingham on 8th March 2013, followed by stops in all the usual big cities including Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Cardiff and more until London's O2 Arena on 23rd March. We will have tickets on sale from 9.30am on Friday 21st September with prices starting at £29.50. You can expect a huge clamour for these shows - close scrutiny of the schedule suggests that there won't be too many extra dates once sold out (but you never know), apart from London.

Over a short space of time, The Script have become one of the UK's biggest bands, so imagine what their next release might have done - could they make it three #1 albums in a row? After the chart-topping successes of their self-titled 2008 debut and its follow-up, 'Science and Faith', the third studio album, cunningly christened '#3', actually missed out on the top spot to The xx - no shame in that.
