Needtobreathe satisfy their needtotour with autumn UK shows

NEEDTOBREATHE

Almost exactly a year after Needtobreathe's fourth studio album The Reckoning became the most successful in the bands 12-year history, the record is set for a UK release on 10th September. And it's about time, especially considering the album did so well in the US.

With 2009's Outsiders nudging into the Billboard top 20, The Reckoning set the bar even higher with a No 6 listing on the main countdown and topping both the Rock and Christian Rock charts. The terrifically named brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart and bassist Seth Bolt (another cracking name) are joined live by Josh Lovelace (amazing!) in a line-up which has supported Taylor Swift and graced all the late night shows stateside, including Leno, Fallon, Ferguson and Letterman.

The Reckoning's belated arrival here is unlikely to dampen enthusiasm for a band whose southern rock has been winning new friends ever since the outfit got together in South Carolina in 2000. Their short July tour of the UK sold out at every venue.

The new tour kicks off at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on 28th November, followed by dates in London, Brighton, Bristol and Manchester, before the final UK date announced so far at Oran Môr in Glasgow on 4th December 2012. The London gig is at Koko on 29th November and there's also a Dublin date on 6th December.

We will have tickets available from 9am on Friday 31st August, priced £15 for Koko and £10 for all other UK shows. Tickets for the Dublin gig will set you back €16.
