The singer and actor is following the success of her debut album with a new tour for 2013, her largest yet - tickets on sale now

Erstwhile kick-ass Head of English at Waterloo Road Heather Peace has spent much of 2012 focussing on her burgeoning music career. Her early telly career did offer a glimpse into Heather's undoubted musical talents with a turn from her London's Burning character singing Bette Midler's The Rose, which was subsequently released as a single.

More recently (that was back in 2000), Ms Peace has been making headlines with roles in Coronation Street, the SAS drama Ultimate Force, in Emmerdale and, currently, as Nicki Boston - an uncompromising English teacher with a military background and a penchant for physical intervention (we know the type). Between series of Waterloo Road (the latest began airing last week), Heather Peace appeared in Glasgow-based drama Lip Service and released her debut album Fairytales which made the indie chart Top Ten. The accompanying UK tour sold out at every turn and Heather will be back on the road in the spring for her biggest tour yet.

The tour kicks off in Glasgow at the Old Fruitmarket on 16th March, followed by dates in Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester and London, before the final show announced so far in Brighton on 22nd March. The London gig is at Islington Assembly Hall on 21st March 2013.

We have tickets available now, priced from £21.50 for Islington and £18.50 for all other dates. The tour follows a summer of sold-out UK shows for Heather and ticket sales are expected to be brisk once again.
