You've got to hand it to them - Two Door Cinema Club can certainly shift tickets quickly. As we have only recently reported, their 2013 Beacons UK tour went on sale a week or so ago and guess what? Much of it has sold out already.

The current status of the tour which starts in January (you can forget about shows in 2012 - all sold out except for the Ibiza Rocks 2012 and Mallorca Rocks 2012 gigs) is thus: Newcastle, Manchester (both) and Birmingham (1st Feb) have only seats left for £15, while the remainder are either offering Premium re-sales or are sold out completely.

London's show sold out in the time it takes to read these words and with the release of their highly-anticipated 'Beacons' album happening this week, it's hardly surprising that the band have opted to announce another capital show. This time you'll be heading to north of the river for a huge gig at Alexandra Palace on 27th April 2013. We will have tickets on sale from Friday 7th September - the show is sure to sell out just as quickly as Brixton.

Now then - who is taking bets that 'Beacons' will hit number 1?
