Festivals
One of the UK's biggest gatherings is set to take place in Essex and Staffordshire at the weekend with The Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher, Keane, The Killers, Snow Patrol etc. Chelmsford - Weekend and Day tickets still available, Staffs - sold out (Premiums only).
What a line-up for Belfast to look forward to - Skrillex on Weds (£31.50), Emeli Sande on Thurs(£25), Madness on Friday (£33) plus Paramore, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and more following soon after. All available except David Guetta (Premiums only).
The ever-popular Green Man in the Brecons will soon be providing you with the eclectic sounds of Van Morrison, Mogwai, Feist, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks and more. Grab those camping tickets now, priced at £152.
Beacons Festival 2012
Skipton in Yorkshire is playing host to an exciting weekend that will include Wild Beasts, Roots Manuva, Patrick Wolf, Toots and the Maytals, Peaking Lights and more. £84.50 for weekenders, £39.50 or £34.50 for Sat/Sun.
OMD (only planned UK show) and Marc Almond head up this '80s-flavoured bask in Clumber Park in Nottingham next weekend. Other names include ABC, Belinda Carlisle and Go West - tickets are still available for £31.45.
Tours
These pop-punksters have just announced a full tour, but have a few special dates from next week onwards, including a string of intimate pre-Reading/Leeds shows next week. Only Edinburgh on 20th Aug has any spaces left at £15 each.
Rochester will follow up its recent Music Event One day-fest with another big name in the shape of The Cribs, set to appear at the town's Royal Theatre. Tickets are available for £18 - this is sure to sell out fast.
Alex Nielson's project recently collaborated with Bonnie Prince Billy for album number four, much of which you will hear on their UK tour. From Manchester on Thursday onwards, Ticket prices start at £7 and rise to £10 for Hebden Bridge on 22nd Aug.
Before appearing at the Green Man Festival later in the week, lo-fi Jurado will be in Brighton, Leeds, Glasgow etc with the excellent Megafaun in support. Tickets cost £10 upwards, London on 20th Aug is £14.
There are still tickets available for this unfathomable but engaging outfit, including their Summer Sundae festival slot in Leicester at the weekend. From Bristol to London and in between, tickets cost £10-£13.
You've gotta love The Hoff, eh? The Baywatch star will be appearing at London's Leicester Square Theatre on Friday and Saturday for two exclusive evenings of his life-story told in words, music and interaction. £25.
Theatre, Comedy and Arts
Comedy-actress Tamsin Grieg takes to the stage at the Duke of York's Theatre to perform in this April de Angelis family drama about reaching 50 and battling with a protesting teenage daughter. Runs for three months from Thursday, priced from £15.
From Thursday for 2 weeks, there are some incredible classic films selected for this year's season, including Pretty in Pink, Paris Texas, The Birds, Bicycle Thieves and the must-see Sexy Beast. Many others have sold-out but the remaining few cost £14.50.
