North London's The Garage will break new ground with three intimate evenings in the company of some legendary rockers; former Guns N'Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho. Despite the rather ITV2 title, Rockstars Say the Funniest Things promises something unique for fans of hard rock.
First up, on Tuesday 23rd October, Duff McKagan presents 'It's So Easy: A Punk's Review', comprising words (and music) from his recent book It's So Easy (and Other Lies). McKagan will share memories from his musical journey, play some acoustic tracks and invite the audience to quiz him with a Q&A.
Sunday 4th November sees a UK-only spoken word performance from Scott Ian. Best known for his axe work with Anthrax, Ian is also famed for his turn as host of the VH1 Rock Show. His interviews with some of rock's all-time greats, including Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Stone Temple Pilots and Tenacious D, suggest that the audience will be in safe hands when the guitarist takes to the stage.
Lastly but by no means leastly, Chris Jericho heads to the Garage on Sunday 25th November with uncensored tales from his journeys on the worlds of WWE and with his band, Fozzy. His 23-year career also boasts best-selling autobiographies, film acting roles and comic theatre appearances, all 'access all areas' for one night only.
We have tickets for all three shows available now, priced £18.50. Sales will be brisk.
