Shakespeare meets Africa at London's Noel Coward Theatre for up to 38% off, available until 7th September

As well as it being the year of the London Olympics, 2012 also marks the staging of the World Shakespeare Festival with numerous production of the great Bard's work being performed right around the globe, as well as in the UK. As well as traditional stage-productions on offer, there are countless modern adaptations to choose from, including the Noel Coward Theatre's critically-acclaimed update of Julius Caesar, which runs until 15th September 2012.

Gregory Doran's Caesar is transported to modern-day Africa where political violence is the order of the day in a struggle for democracy and ultimately peace. In Doran's setting, two men are thrown into turmoil, conspiracy and tragedy that echoes present struggles as well as Shakespeare's original play. Most critics have lauded it as "Intelligent and deeply moving" (Sunday Times), "Gripping" (Telegraph) or "Triumphantly staged" (Express). Mark Antony is played by Ray Fearon and Caesar by Jeffery Kissoon, both actors described as 'eloquent' and 'superb'.
