The Travelling Band hold their 'Hands Up' and reschedule UK tour for 2013

Band wants to finish album before touring with Ellen and the Escapades, tickets on sale now

Just two months ago, we told you about Manchester's folk-vagabonds The Travelling Band's intention to tour the UK in the autumn. The bad news is they've postponed the whole shebang - the good news is we've got the new rearranged schedule right here! And they've kept the original support band Ellen and the Escapades intact for all the dates. I guess they can be forgiven, especially if they're going to spend the time wisely, crafting their third studio album and NOT going out and getting drunk with girls instead.

The new roster looks a lot like this: The first stop will be Newcastle on 5th March 2013, followed by Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds etc until eventually heading south to Cambridge on 28th March. In amongst that lot are shows in their hometown of Manchester on 12th March and London's Lexington on the 26th. Original tickets are still valid, or you can pick up new ones from us now. Prices start at £7.50, rising to £10 for London.

In addition, you can still see The Travelling Band at various festivals including Secret Garden Party, Kendal Calling and Rhythm Festival as well as honouring their two warm-up shows in Chipping on 21st September and Lowdham on 28th September.
