With regular slots seemingly booked for Mock The Week for the foreseeable future, Chris Addison has added to his busy schedule with the announcement of a batch of new dates for his The Time is Now, Again tour, now booking until April 2013.

Before Chris Addison was the guy from that insurance commercial, he was the bloke from The Thick of It or Mock The Week or Have I Got News For You?. He's never really been That Stand-Up Guy, which is odd when he's so very good at it.

In fact, fifteen years or so ago, it was where Addison first made his mark. Since then, writing, TV, radio and film success, including Armando Iannucci's big screen The Thick of It, 2009's In the Loop, have taken over somewhat.

But Chris Addison returned to stand-up around three years ago and hasn't looked back. Scores of sold-out venues and critical acclaim have propelled the former Manchester Grammar School pupil into the premier league of UK stand-ups.

With packed theatres and side-split audiences trailing in his wake, Chris Addison has announced a number of UK dates for early next year, including, among many others, Fareham (31st January), St Albans (2nd March), Reading (15th March) and Aberystwyth (16th March). We will have tickets available from 9am on Friday 20th July 2012, priced £20 or £21 depending on venue.
