Jack Savoretti is fast becoming one of acoustic pop's worst kept secrets. For so long under the radar, the Italian-English songwriter has seen his star steadily rise. And rise.

Formerly boasting occasional TV soundtrack credits, for episodes of Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill, he most recently found himself performing with no lesser screen beauty than Sienna Miller, on his 2012 single Hate and Love. The single was a one-off and not part of his third album, last month's Before the Storm.

It signals Savoretti's maturing presence and an acceptance into the upper echelons of acoustic folky-pop which sees him graduating to ever bigger venues as a headline act and some impressive support slots at arena gigs. It also coincides with his music graduating into subtly darker territory, replacing sun-washed chirpiness with accents of melancholy, and with some success.

Jack Savoretti's Breaking the Rules Tour kicks off in Brighton on 23rd October, continuing throughout October and November, taking in stops in Oxford, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh and more. The London show is at Scala on 6th November. We will have tickets available from 9am on Friday 13th July, priced £12 for London and from just £9 for all other dates.

Jack will also be supporting Jools Holland at a number of dates in November and December, specifically Manchester, Birmingham, London (Royal Albert Hall), Brighton and Cardiff.
