Yashin announce UK and Ireland 2012 tour dates

The Glasgow outfit are following the recent sold-out tour and new album with an extensive November tour, tickets on sale Wednesday 4th July 2012

The measure of a man, the adage goes, is the company he keeps. For bands fighting to keep their heads above water, this means courting and clinging to the coattails of the industry's big names. To avoid being pulled under, most new acts need to marry some thoughtful, original output with being seen in the company of giants.

Not that Yashin need telling. The post-hardcore six-piece from Greenock have spent six years recording and issuing two albums and sharing the bill with bands including The Blackout, Enter Shikari, Lostprophets, New Found Glory and Limp Bizkit. Their second studio album, We Created A Monster, was released last month and, following the recent spring tour, will be taking the new material on an autumn jaunt. You could do worse than be seen in their company.

The 10-date tour kicks off in Ireland, in Cork and Dublin, on 3rd and 4th November before heading to the UK and Preston on 7th November. Dates follow in Plymouth, Leeds, Nottingham and more, before the final gig announced so far at the ABC in Glasgow on 17th November 2012. We will have tickets available from 9am on Wednesday 4th July, priced from around £10 for UK shows and from 12 for Ireland dates.

Amidst the headline shows, Yashin are playing the Vans Warped Tour 2012 date at Alexandra Palace on 10th November, we have tickets available now, priced from £40.
