Miss May I to follow At Heart with autumn 2012 UK dates

Posted: 11 years ago
The metal five-piece from Ohio are playing five shows beginning in Manchester in November, tickets on sale Friday 29th June

In six years, American metalcore quartet Miss May I have been refreshingly reliable performers. Central to this has been a solid line-up that wavered just once; when bassist Ryan Jeff left the band for around two years, restoring the team to its starting formation when he re-joined the band in 2009.

The debut album, Apologies Are For The Weak, soon followed. It made a modest commercial impact but proved to be a good starting point for a band who would see each of their next two records steadily outperform the last. Miss May I's third album, At Heart, was released around a fortnight ago and has already delivered the band's best ever chart showing, clocking in at No 32 on the US Billboard 200 countdown. With momentum continuing to swell, these five noisy lads from the city of Troy are bringing the new record to the UK later this year with five gigs in a week in the run up to Christmas.

The short tour kicks off at the Manchester Academy on 30th November, followed by shows in Birmingham, Southsea, and Nottingham before the final gig of the run at The Garage in north London. We will have tickets available from 9am on Friday 29th June, priced just £10 (all venues.
