Gallows hang around for new album and autumn 2012 UK tour

Posted: 11 years ago
New line-up to play a string of shows in October, tickets on sale Friday 29th June

Recently we told you about ex-Gallows singer Frank Carter's new project Pure Love and their plans for new material and live shows. Bearing this in mind, it would be rude not to tell you what his old gang are up to, right?

For a start, Gallows have had whirlwind firebrand vocalist Wade MacNeil installed since 2011 and the former Alexisonfire hollerer hasn't wasted any time in stamping his authority on the band's powerful material. After just a few months, Gallows' first EP with MacNeil on the mike appeared with four new songs, including the previously issued teaser, 'True Colours'. So far, so loud.

Now the band are ready to unleash a full album, scheduled for release on 11th September on their own Venn Records imprint - but wait, what's that gorgeous racket blasting out of their website? Why, it's the new terrace-anthem, 'Last June' of course and it can be yours as a free download for the simple exchange for your email address at www.gallows.co.uk .

As well as the new vocalist and new music, there are tour dates to unveil starting with the first shows announced as part of an extensive UK tour in October. The many dates include Brighton on 3rd October, followed by Exeter, Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham and lots more until Camden closes out the jaunt on 19th October. Support for the tour comes from Feed the Rhino and Brotherhood of the Lake.

You'll be able to grab tickets for these via us from 9am on Friday 29th June. Prices average at around £13. Expect supercharged new material and classics from 'Grey Britain' and beyond.
