There is surely nothing as frustrating than being on the cusp of artistic greatness and mainstream exposure than falling ill at the most inopportune moment. Never mind Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga hurling technicolour chunks on stage recently, not even making it out on tour must be a bigger bind.
Sadly, Lianne La Havas is the latest to get a refusal from the doctors and won't be performing a full UK tour this month. Instead, several dates have been postponed until a later date, including tonight's gig in Manchester and all shows until, and including, Dublin on the 15th October.
Her tour will instead now commence in Bournemouth on the 17th October and continue through to Oxford on the 22nd. Keep them crossed, folks!
With regards to ticket-holders - you should hang on to your tickets for now because these will remain valid for the rescheduled shows, which take place in Cambridge on 28th February, with further dates in Liverpool, Dublin, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and London - which now includes a brand new date at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 12th March 2013. Tickets for the new date will cost £15 and go on sale on Friday 12th October at 9AM.
With the exception of the original rescheduled London date (11th March), tickets are available for each of the rescheduled shows.
