It seems like only yesterday our Stewart was waxing lyrical about this feminine, feline foursome from across the North Sea, so if you missed out on buying tickets to their recent spring tour, shame on you. Katzenjammer (or 'cat's wail', a euphemism for hangover) have taken note of this sorry state of affairs and have not only ensured that they will be all present and correct at a heap of music-festivals during the summer, they will return with the other leg of their European tour in the autumn.
To be sure of grabbing yourself some Balkanesque pop-Vaudeville and to witness this quartet of instrument-swapping knees-up spectacle of a band, you'll need to be quick on the click from 9am on Friday 15th June, the time and date that we will have tickets on sale! The jaunt itself kicks off in Cambridge on 25th October, followed by Leeds, Glasgow and a whole load more until Bristol on 3rd November. Prices for these new shows will start at around £9, a bargain for a party! Talking of which, Katzenjammer are positively encouraging London gig goers to get dolled up in Halloween garb for their show at the capital's Islington Academy on 31st October!
Prior to the headlining hop, you can see Katzenjammer at the Cornbury Festival on 1st July and other summer gatherings such as Beautiful Days, Bingley Music Live and the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park bash starring Jessie J and Status Quo on 9th September. Tickets are available for all of the above.
