Mayday Parade

If you like American pop-punk, and, who knows, you might, then you're bound to have a degree of affection for Tallahassee's pre-eminent emo-rockers Mayday Parade.

Three albums into a seven-year career, the five-piece continues to progress at quite a pace; clocking up some impressive sales stats and earning a reputation for hard work and an unforgiving live schedule. They've also made hay in the US by hitching their Winnebago to a few high profile co-headline tours; not least the excitement-causing Vans Warped Tour and The 2011 Noise Tour, which they spent in the company of You Me at Six and We Are the In Crowd, to name two.

But Mayday Parade are not in the business of clinging to anyone else's military-style coat tails. Their debut EP, 2006's excellently titled Tales Told by Dead Friends, shifted 20,000 copies without any label promotion and their three studio LPs since have all sold and charted well, with 2011's self-titled third album peaking at No 12 on the main US Billboard chart and second spot on the indie countdown.

Mayday Parade kick off the short tour in Camden at the Electric Ballroom on 4th October, followed by dates in Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham, before the final gig in Norwich on 11th October 2012. We have tickets available on pre-sale now, priced £14 for London and £12.50 for other venues. General on-sale is from 9am on Friday 25th May.

We also have Meet & Greet bundles available from around £50. These include entry to the gig, a signed poster, a band wristband and T-shirt.

Derek, Alex and co will also be playing the Slam Dunk Festival 2012 on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May (this weekend!) at the universities of Leeds and Hertfordshire respectively. We've some Premium tickets available now.
