Jersey Live returns in 2012 with another stellar line-up

Posted: 11 years ago
The 10,000 capacity event boasts Chase & Status, Noel Gallagher, Professor Green, Primal Scream and more for the September two-dayer, tickets Saturday 26th May

If you think of Jersey as little more than the land of Bergerac and some nice cows, you couldn't be more wrong. Coupled with the Channel Island's rich heritage is a boutique music festival that serves up the best in indie rock and drum'n'bass to go with all that lovely dairy.

For two days in early September, 10,000 festival-goers will be treated to a line-up befitting a Leeds or V event. The Saturday sees Chase & Status leading the line, supported by Professor Green, Maverick Sabre and Devlin; while the bill for the following day is headed by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds with support coming from Primal Scream and The Stranglers, with more names still to be confirmed. Not bad at all.

Another important factor in the event's success are Jersey's long hot summers, making a September show the perfect way to close out the festival season in warm buttery sunlight. Add to that the comparative intimacy of the venue, the stellar line-up and some very reasonable prices, especially for the kids, and you have one of the most appealing festivals of the entire year.

Jersey Live 2012 takes place at the Royal Jersey Showground in Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September. We will have tickets available from 9am on Saturday 26th May, priced £58 for day tickets and £92 for the full weekend. Under-16s are less and weekend tickets for those 12-and-under are just £20. Given the line-up and the size of the venue, tickets are expected to sell very well so favourite this page and get 'em booked.
