Victoria Park in Hackney will welcome back festival new-comer The Apple Cart this June (Sunday 3rd), along with the established Field Day the day before (2nd) in a back-to-back sandwich of musical yumminess.

Field Day 2012 sees Franz Ferdinand and The Vaccines line-up along with the recently-announced The Internet (featuring Odd Future, Wolf Gang and Kill Them All), plus Beirut, Baxter Dury, Gold Panda, Hudson Mohawke, Maya Jane Coles, SBTRKT, Tortoise and many more. Standard tickets are available now for £45.

The more rootsy Apple Cart will feature Beth Jeans Houghton, Billy Bragg, Noah and the Whale, Stornoway, Adam And and the Good, the Mad and the Lovely Posse, Inner City (featuring Kevin Saunderson), Kevin Rowland and many more.

As well as music, The Apple Cart also adds cabaret, magic and comedy from the likes of Phill Jupitus, Rich Hall, Sean Lock, Charlie Baker, Bourgeois and Maurice, Christian Lee, Piff the Magic Dragon and many more. Standard tickets are available now for £35.

We had two pairs of tickets to give away - the first prize was for a pair of tickets to see both festivals, with the runner-up receiving tickets for the Apple Cart.

Lucky Fiona Mackay has bagged herself the first prize, and will get to see both festivals, whilst Matthew Hawkins has won a pair of tickets to see The Apple Cart festival. Congrats!

Don't forget that Field Day head honcho Tom Baker is hosting interviews, gossip and a preview of the music to come on Field Day Radio. You can hear it on MixCloud, here: www.mixcloud.com/FieldDayRadio/
