As part of the biggest comedy world jaunt ever known, 'Force Majeure' starts in Aberdeen on 3rd May then onto just about every major town and city including Newcastle, Wembley and Manchester, plus the Eden Project and a final stop in London, this time at the O2 Arena. Prices are £35-£40.

BT London Live 2012

The line-up for the Olympics opening ceremony concert in Hyde Park will see headline sets from Snow Patrol, Duran Duran, Paolo Nutini and the Stereophonics, all taking place on 27th July - tickets are a whopping, but once-in-a-lifetime, £60 with more names due to be announced.

The final eight hopefuls embark on a huge tour starting with Bournemouth on 12th September, followed by arena gigs in Cardiff, London, Aberdeen and more, until Sheffield on 27th September. The London show is at The O2 Arena on Saturday 15th September. Prices from £32.50.

Top Gear Live 2012

Clarkson, May and Hammond return as part of this huge petrolheads' weekend-paradise at the NEC, running from 25th to 28th October. Exhibitions, cars, the argumentative presenters, cars, the track and more cars will set you back £20-£49 for basic packages. On sale Thursday.

Just when you thought that guitarist Tony Iommi was too ill to play any more European shows, apart from Download, up pops this must-see homecoming warm-up show at Birmingham's O2 Academy on 19th May. Tickets start from £45 and are expected to sell out in minutes.

Sensational Space Shifters

Robert Plant returns with another potential sell-out show from his hybrid band of Appalachian, Deep South and Gambian influences that includes regular partner, Justin Adams. In addition to Gloucester (sold-out), the band perform at London's HMV Forum on 12th July - prices range from £40 to £45.

William Shatner, Patrick Stewart and Kate Mulgrew are amongt the special 'Captains of the Enterprise' at this huge fan convention and family exhibition at London's ExCeL centre from 19th to 21st October. Along with several ticket-types, Standard 1-day passes cost from £29 upwards, available now.

Pop's original Prince Charming returns to his roots with the revival of his early alter ego; the theatrical Blueback Hussar. The tour of the same name kicks off in Glasgow on 1st November, taking in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and more, before the final date in London on 30th November. From £22.

The 11-date tour marks the 30th anniversary of the albums The Changeling and Warrior Rock. The Changeling Resurrection II Tour kicks off in Middlesbrough on 19th September, followed by dates in Glasgow, London and more, before Brighton on 3rd November. From £18.

Their new album (their ninth), Days Go By, is set for release in June and the band are bringing the new material to the UK, playing two London gigs a few weeks before Days Go By hits the shelves - on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th June 2012, priced £27.50 each.

A third album is mooted for later this year with the north Londoner announcing a string of intimate summer dates. The tour kicks off in Edinburgh on 16th June, followed by gigs in Liverpool, Manchester and more, before the final date in Cardiff on 30th June. Prices from £15.

The original trio reunite for their first shows since 1999, starting with Bournemouth on 23rd November, followed by Nottingham, Dublin, Glasgow and more, before Brixton on 4th December. Tickets cost from £27.50 and are on sale from 10am (pushed back from 27th April).

'Seamonsters' appeared in the spring of 1991 and marked a continuation of their relationship with renowned producer Steve Albini at the helm. The Wedding Present will be performing the whole album in its entirety, starting in Bournemouth on 26th October, followed by towns such as Bristol, Newcastle and Birmingham. Prices start at around £14 - on sale now.
