Santa Claus and the Christmas Adventure rolls into town again for Christmas 2012

The annual family treat aimed at younger children returns to London in time for the 2012 festive season, tickets on sale now

Despite the recent heavy snowfall in parts of the country, Christmas 2012 still seems too far away to be worrying about now. That said, any parent who has spent the last two weeks trying to entertain primary and pre-schoolers when weather conditions are less than favourable will be keen to learn of any reasonably priced indoor treat for the whole family.

Following last year's sold out run at the Ambassadors Theatre in London, Santa Claus and the Christmas Adventure will be returning to the same venue on 27th November 2012 for a month long run. The story is a familiar one, following the action at Santa's North Pole headquarters while he and the team work hard to get everything ready for the big day. Everything seems to be going smoothly until, at the last minute, Rudolph goes missing and the elves start playing up...

With illusions designed by the magician Paul Daniels, Santa and the Christmas Adventure is aimed at children between 2 and 8 years old - who also get to meet Santa after the show and receive a present. After the late November opening, the show runs right up until Christmas Eve with up to three performances daily starting at a variety of times - the earliest being 9.30am and the latest 4pm.

We have tickets available now, priced from £8 for the opening performance (kids go free to that one), rising to just £10 or £12 for the remaining dates. They will sell out - don't leave it too late to book!
