Disney on Ice presents a Passport to Adventure for its autumn 2012 season

'Make Imagination Your Destination' as Mickey and Minnie embark on a skating odyssey - On sale from Monday 9th April

Since 1981, Disney on Ice have been touring the world with ice-skating shows devoted to just about every Disney character that has ever appeared in its high-grossing animated films. Donald Duck, Peter Pan, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Finding Nemo, the highly-successful Toy Story and their most-recent blockbuster, High School Musical, have all previously been adapted for ice. Of late, the creators of Disney on Ice have relied on 'compilations' - the Princesses and Heroes show, currently touring the UK (tickets still available), features central characters from Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid and Snow White.

For the next Disney on Ice spectacular, Passport to Adventure, it's time to pack your suitcases and head off to a magical land, far far away. Join Mickey and Minnie Mouse as they discover the kingdoms from where your favourite characters come from. The African Pride lands of The Lion King's Simba and Nala, the underwater paradise of The Little Mermaid's Ariel and Sebastian, the peaceful starry skies associated with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell and a Hawaiian heaven with Lilo and Stitch will all feature in this family show.

You can catch Disney On Ice: Passport to Adventure at a handful of large cities during the autumn and winter 2012/13, starting with Glasgow from 28th September to 7th October, followed by week-long stops in Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham (almost two weeks), Sheffield and finally Wembley Arena during the Festive holiday.

Glasgow and London will go on sale from 10am Monday 9th April, the remainder will be released at 10am on Tuesday 10th. Prices start from around £11 - £19 and rise to anything from £35 to £43.
