Greg Davies is possibly the UK's biggest comedian - he's 6ft 8in. He also looks like a supercharged Rik Mayall; all pumped-up and wide-eyed, with hands like baseball mitts and feet like a couple of Fiat Pandas.

However the fascinating thing about this giant Welshman is that it is not his physical appearance that is the most striking thing about him. No, what most people remember about Greg Davies is that he is very, very funny. A sharp, self-deprecating wit - part observational raconteur, part grumpy old man - has made light of his considerable bulk and won him many headlines.

He's the combative Head of Sixth Form Mr Gilbert at The Inbetweeners' Rudge Park Comp, he's one-third of the musical comedy troupe We Are Klang and he's a frequent guest on shows including Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, that thing with his friend Rhod Gilbert and all the rest of those shows.

Clearly multi-talented, funny and likeable, Davies is returning to the stand-up circuit with a new show - The Back of My Mum's Head. Like most of his comedy, expect a semi-autobiographical jaunt through his mind and backstory, with promises of hearing some of life's great questions answered. They won't be, mind, there'll just be jokes, lots of laughing punters and one massive comedian.

Greg kicks off his tour in October, taking in Chorley, Reading, Cardiff, Swansea, Glasgow, London, Oxford, Belfast and loads more, before the final date announced so far in Harrogate on 13th December.

We will have tickets available when they go on sale at 9am on Monday 19th March, priced around £20.

We also have tickets remaining for Greg's appearance at Outside the Box on 6th May in Windsor, also £20.
