Posted: 12 years ago

This week could see another server-crashing phenomenon as Madonna's World Tour begins to encroach on our shores. Ben Howard, Katie Melua, Placebo, Alanis Morissette and Rizzle Kicks are also more than capable of causing a rush for tickets, as well as Forestry Live offerings from Razorlight and The Wanted. Just who are you going to book tickets for?

Tickets on-sale Friday at 9am unless otherwise stated. For ticket availability, click on the "Buy Tickets" buttons below, on or after the on-sale date and time. Prices quoted are exclusive of booking fees.

The Material Girl will be touring the world during 2012, pausing for a European leg during the summer - which means she's hitting the UK!! The confirmed shows are London's Hyde Park on 17th July and Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on the 21st. A Dublin show follows on 24th July, before she heads off to Vienna and beyond. Prices are £60 for Edinburgh, £70 for London and €54.65 for Dublin (which is on sale at 8am on Friday 17th Feb).

With his February UK tour not yet underway, English folk sensation Howard is already booked up for much of the remainder of 2012. His November UK tour kicks off in Brighton on the 2nd, followed by dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and more before ending up in Brixton on 28th Nov. Prices start at £16.

Her next UK tour, to promote her 'Secret Symphony' album, will commence later this year, beginning with Ipswich on 8th October, followed by Hammersmith, Bristol, Birmingham and more until Gateshead on the 16th. We'll have tickets available to buy priced at £32.50 (£37.50 for London).

Her UK fans will get the chance to catch up with Alanis when she plays three rare UK dates in the summer, beginning in Birmingham on 25th June, then Manchester and finally, on 27th June, the Brixton Academy. We'll have tickets available for all dates, priced from £29.50.

For those living further afield from London, where they're due to play to a sell-out Sundance Festival audience, good news - Placebo will be performing two intimate shows prior to Sundance. Edinburgh's Picture House will host the first on 25th April, followed by Liverpool's Olympia on 26th. £28.50.

They've sold over 4 million albums and show no signs of buckling under the strain of current trends. A new album is imminent and so is a Forestry Live show at Thetford Forest on 14th June. 'America', 'Wire to Wire' and other tracks from across their popular catalogue will have you swinging in the trees. Tickets cost £29.50.

Fans of one of the fastest-selling pop-bands will be eager to snap up tickets for a Forestry show at Gloucestershire's Westonbirt Arboretum on 20th July (the final one to be announced for this location). The chart-toppers will wheel out the big hits such as 'Lightning', 'Glad You Came' and more - tickets cost £27.50.

Despite having a full UK tour planned for February and March (only Premium tickets left), plus a slot at Wireless supporting Rihanna, the duo have announced an autumn tour starting in Brixton on 16th November and ending in Nottingham on 3rd December - tickets are £15 (£17.50 for London).

First stop for the Texan band's variably-priced UK tour is Bristol's Academy (£12.50) on 21st May, followed by London's HMV Forum (£16.50) on 22nd, Manchester's Ritz (£14) on 23rd and Leeds' Cockpit (£12.50) on the 24th. Expect all shows to sell well.
