After a sensational, sold out return at the Clapham Grand in 2011, the London International Ska Festival 2012 looks to be even bigger and better, with new venues and a stellar line-up.
This year's event takes place from Thursday 3rd until Sunday 6th May, and is held at the Islington Academy (Thurs, Fri, Sun) and the Shepherds Bush Empire (Sat). As you would expect, the line-up is a who's who of the ska scene.
The opening night is headlined by The Pioneers and Dawn Penn, followed by Dandy Livingstone, Dave Barker (of Dave and Ansell Collins) and Rico Rodriguez on the Friday. The Shepherds Bush night features The Dualers and Ska Cubano.
Back in Islington on Sunday 6th May, the festival goes out with quite a bang, with a line-up featuring Fishbone, Neol Davies (The Selecter), The Skints and a DJ set from Don Letts. In addition, the festival sees appearances from The Hotknives, Phoenix City All-Stars, Belgium's Moon Invaders, Los Granadians (from Spain), The Delegators and more.
We have tickets available now for all dates, priced from £20 for the Sunday night, £25 for Saturday in Shepherd's Bush and £32.50 for the first two nights.
Last year, all gigs sold out and this year is expected to be no different.
