Hadouken! announce extensive April 2012 tour - tickets now/Friday 3rd Feb

Posted: 12 years ago

Formed in 2006 and named after a move from the Street Fighter games, Hadouken! have been combining grime and dance successfully for five years and with surprising mainstream success.

Their first two albums, 2008's 'Music for an Accelerated Culture' and 2010 follow-up 'For the Masses' both bothered the upper reaches of the UK album chart, peaking at No 12 and No 19 respectively.

Later this year, the London-based five-piece will be releasing their third record through Ministry of Sound. Having already firmly established a reputation for thrilling live performances, Hadouken! are taking the new material and some old favourites on the road in the spring, with 13 dates in a little over two weeks in April.

Hadouken! kick off their spring tour at the Phoenix in Exeter on 11th April, followed by dates in Reading, Wrexham, Wolverhampton, Stoke, Preston, York and more, before the final gig of the run at the Weymouth Pavilion on 27th April 2012.

We have tickets for the Durham Live Lounge gig (25th April) available now, priced £12. We'll have tickets for remaining dates when they go on sale at 9am on Friday 3rd February, also priced around £12.

Ahead of all that, Hadouken! are also playing a HMV Next Big Thing show in London on Friday 3rd February - the gig is sold out.
