During what seems like an age ago (OK, it was only last November), we told you about the first headliner for this year's exciting Wireless Festival - the only 2012 UK appearance (so far) by global superstar and de-clothed field-trekking popette, Rihanna, who appears with a veritable tapestry of delights on Sunday 8th July. Joining her are Jessie J, Calvin Harris, Labrinth, Rizzle Kicks, J Cole and more with tickets are still available, priced at £52.50. Want to know who's playing during the day before? Read on.
The organizers have now unveiled phase 2 of Wireless Festival 2012 by announcing their Saturday line-up, including the man who will headline the whole darned thing - US rapper Drake. Whilst we're left wondering if the entire audience will turn up with his name tattooed on their foreheads (last year's much talked-about news-item and the greatest piece of fan-overload madness ever), you can feast your eyes at the supporting cast. Example appears to be aiming himself at the Guinness Book of Records next year, with as many festival appearances as possible including this one. Fair play.
Two other names also hogging the limelight on 7th July will be London rapper Professor Green and American rapper Wiz Khalifa, who is busy prepping his second major-label album for release later this year. Tickets for Saturday will go on sale this Friday, priced at £49.50 (plus fee).
