Ryan Adams announces spring 2012 UK and Ireland tour - tickets Friday 20th Jan

Posted: 17th January 2012

Prolific, high flying, don't-call-me-Bryan, alt-country ambassador Ryan Adams is following last year's 'Ashes & Fire' LP with a string of European dates that include seven gigs across UK and Ireland.

'Ashes & Fire' was, incredibly, Adams' 13th album in 12 years, which included a self-imposed hiatus during which he wrote two books of poetry and short stories. The high productivity has not appeared to hinder quality, however, with the latest record hitting the Top Ten in both the UK and US, and in doing so becoming the American's best performing UK release to date. The album featured Norah Jones and was released on Adams' own PAX-AM label in October, following a string of albums with The Cardinals.

A handful of sold-out UK dates followed the record's release, and Adams is returning to play some high profile venues in the spring, including London's iconic Palladium, where he will be performing two shows.

Ryan Adams' UK and Ireland tour kicks off at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 19th April, before UK dates in Belfast, Gateshead, London (Palladium), Nottingham, Glasgow and Sheffield, before returning to the Palladium for the final gig of the tour on 30th April 2012.

We will have tickets available when they go on sale at 10am on Friday 20th January, priced from £25 for UK dates and from €44.05 for Dublin.

It's Ryan Adams - expect a rush for tickets.
