Delilah announces spring 2012 UK tour - tickets on sale Wednesday 21st December

Chase and Status

Delilah is the stage name of Paloma Ayana, a British singer and songwriter from London with a rich, multi-cultural heritage. It has nothing to day with the anthemic Tom Jones lounge bar rabble-rouser about knives and hair and laughing no more.

Ayana is a rising star of the UK music scene and rightly tipped to have a big year in 2012. She's already familiar to millions as the vocalist on the Chase and Status hit 'Time'. For so long a collaborator and something of an enigma, Delilah has finally broken out, having spent the last few months supporting Maverick Sabre and her old pals Chase and Status.

She is largely unconfined by genre, having popped up in the drum and bass, dance, dubstep, chill out, pop and soul sections of your nearest, failing, record superstore. This owes much to Delilah's musical heritage - her stepfather was a DJ at the Ministry of Sound and her mother was involved with the MOBOs. Music is in her blood.

Her new single, 'Love You So' is out now and the debut album is expected to be released just ahead of the 2012 dates.

Delilah's solo headline tour kicks off in Glasgow on 12th April, followed by gigs in Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol and Norwich, before the final date announced so far at KOKO in Camden on 24th April 2012.

We will have tickets available when they go on sale at 9AM on Wednesday 21st December, priced £11 for London and £9 for all other venues.

Ahead of the spring dates, Delilah is appearing at MTV Brand New for 2012, supporting Emeli Sandé, on 25th January, also at KOKO. A fortnight later, on 9th February, she is back in north London at the Garage in Highbury with a Next Big Thing 2012 gig.

We have tickets available now for both shows, priced £15 and £10 respectively.
