It has been announced that the spring 2012 UK arena tour of the BBC's Human Planet Live has been cancelled.

Apologising to all those who booked tickets, the official website said the cancellation was "due to operational issues beyond our control". Rescheduled dates have not been announced and refunds will be given for all tickets.

According to www.humanplanetlive.com "refunds will be processed automatically to the relevant credit/debit card and no further action is required from ticketholders".

It seems that the project is not entirely dead, however, with news about the launch of Human Planet Live now expected next year.
