Bugged Out!

January can be a right miserable month, especially if you're a clubhead. Making yourself look beautiful for hours, only to step outside into what feels like the set of Frozen Planet, minus the penguins. The club is packed, full of squiffy-eyed idiots on the pull (that's just the ladies) or tottering about in high-heels looking for love (that's just the blokes), drinks are priced at £10 for a J2O and you step outside 5 hours later to witness taxi-queue carnage - and it's STILL freezing. Honestly, who really wants to do that?

The Bugged Out Weekender sounds like paradise in winter. Not only do you get a stunning 3-day line-up comprised of the very best in house, techno, electronica, dubstep, wonky, UK funky and drum 'n' bass acts associated with the infamous Bugged Out! nights, but you also get the use of Butlin's on-site facilities (swimming pool, cinema, funfair and health spa), not to mention a comfy room without having to swear at a tent that won't stay up in the gales.

Friday 20th January features Diplo, Fake Blood, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (live), Ms Dynamite, Joy Orbison, Simian Mobile Disco and SBTRKT (DJ set), Saturday includes 2 Many DJs, Inner City, Chase and Status, Sub Focus, Hudson Mohawke and Night Slugs' artists, including Bok Bok, while Sunday includes Maya Jane Coles, Joker and Hyetal in a rare live showing. The line-up is pretty impressive across the 72 hours.

Tickets are still available at various prices, starting with a 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed Silver Rooms at £139, 2-bed apartments for £169 or a VIP Ocean Hotel Room for £199, which gets you 2 bedrooms and a few swanky extras such as Pool Party and VIP Bar passes. Hurry though - it's just two months away!
