Joan Rivers' 'Now or Never' tour hits the UK in 2012 - tickets on sale Saturday 1st October

Posted: 12 years ago

Joan Rivers is a 78-year-old force of nature. And plastic. Brash, mouthy, rude, lewd and with a dangerous sense of fun, Joan Alexandra Molinsky has been getting away with it for more than 50 years.

Rivers' secret has always been that she has never taken herself too seriously, but that's not to say she hasn't worked extraordinarily hard to stay at the top. She is open about her experiences and neuroses, and has made no attempt to hide the most striking aspect of her physical appearance - that she has regularly undergone cosmetic surgery (ever since 1965, in fact).

She has been a talk show host for a number of networks, presented numerous 'red carpet' broadcasts, sold millions of books, been sacked, been on Big Brother, suffered with bulimia, won awards, lost her husband to suicide and, by and large, met triumph and disaster and treated them both the same - with filthy mischief.

A veteran of Las Vegas, Edinburgh and everything in-between, including the Royal Variety Show, Joan Rivers is a genuine giant of comedy and post-watershed entertainment and she is bringing her potty mouth to these shores once more late next year, when she'll be pushing 80 years old.

Joan Rivers brings her Now or Never Tour to the UK in October 2012, kicking-off in Newcastle on Friday 12th, followed by Liverpool, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Reading, Southend, Brighton and Bristol, before the final show at the Royal Albert Hall on 22nd October 2012.

We will have tickets for all dates when they go on sale at 9AM on Saturday 1st October 2011, priced from £33.50.

Even though these dates are a year away, Joan Rivers shows are always in very high demand and are expected to sell out quickly.
