Funny Woman Andi Osho's 'All the Single Ladies' autumn 2011 dates - on sale now

Posted: 12 years ago

Andi Osho is earning a reputation for being as quick-witted and sharp as any on the stand-up circuit; a status that has earned her many a guest slot on shows like 'Big Brother's Big Mouth' and the comedians' golden goose, 'Mock the Week'.

Although these appearances have, along with 'Ask Rhod Gilbert' and 'Tonightly', cemented Osho's billing as a safe bet for cheeky one-liners and observational gags, she has a much broader CV of telly credits to her name. An actor and presenter, Andi Osho has appeared in the BBC shows 'Casualty', 'Psychoville', on 'The Culture Show', in 'Doctors', 'Eastenders' and more.

Having worked in TV production and then in front of the camera, Osho turned her talents to stand-up in 2006 and began doing open mic nights whilst holding down a day job. But not for long. In 2007, she won the Nivea Funny Women award and has never really looked back.

Continuing to write and act, her stand-up has flourished alongside her telly career, whether as an actor, presenter, guest, host of her own show (an E4 pilot for 'The Andi O Show') or contestant (in 2011's 'Let's Dance For Comic Relief'). Funny, hardworking and with often eye-catching hair, Osho is cutting it in what remains a distinctly male-dominated profession.

Andi Osho continues to pay the rent with a busy schedule of gigs throughout the autumn, starting at The Sir Richard Steele in London on 24th September, followed by a handful of gigs in Brighton and one in Bath. She then embarks on her 'All the Single Ladies' tour, taking in Highlight comedy clubs across England and Scotland, starting in Leeds on 10th October, with further dates in Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Leicester, Edinburgh, Watford, Portsmouth and Reading on 12th December. Andi will also be playing the Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall on the 9th November, before her final gig (currently) of 2011 at the Sno! Zone venue in Castleford.

We have tickets for all dates available now, priced £8 - £12 with most under a tenner.
