Spiritualized reschedule part of their October 2011 UK and Ireland tour

Posted: 1st July 2011

Spiritualized have today announced a few changes to their tour schedule. The band, led by ex-Spacemen 3 musician, Jason Pierce will now play just three of the October dates in October, the remainder being moved to February 2012.

The ATP Royal Albert Hall date is the only one unaffected by the changes, but the Edinburgh date will now take place on 9th October rather than 6th, with the Leamington Spa gig taking place on 10th (originally 5th). All other dates will now take place in February, starting in Dublin on 23rd, then Manchester (24th) and finally Bristol on 25th.

The up-side for people attending the February gigs is that they will be the first to hear the new album live (now due out early next year).

Tickets cost £17.50 regionally, €24 for Dublin and from £22.50 to £32.50 for the Royal Albert Hall. Original tickets remain valid, but if required, a refund can be obtained from your point of purchase.

More rescheduling and new dates!

Wow, it will be a testament to Spiritualized fans' spirit if anyone goes to the Manchester, Bristol or Dublin dates... they have been rescheduled again, now taking place in March on 25th (Manchester), 21st (Bristol) and 24th (Dublin) .

The good news is that two new dates have been added - both for March. They will now be playing a date at the O2 Academy in Oxford on 20th and another at Belfast's Mandela Hall on 23rd March. Tickets (£17.50 for Oxford, £19.50 for Belfast) go on sale Friday 14th October.
