Professor Green is in demand. This spring he supported the N-Dubz tour, playing to full houses at some of the UK's biggest arenas, including the MEN, the O2 and the Birmingham LG Arena.
Throughout the summer he has continued to shoehorn his own headline gigs into a schedule that includes Glastonbury, Majorca Rocks, Ibiza Rocks, T in the Park, Oxegen 2011, the Summer Series at London's Somerset House. And then there's the V Festival, Bestival and Spain's Benicassim.
He hasn't really stopped since hooking up (professionally) with Lily Allen a couple of years ago. He worked on her 2009 tour and teamed up with Lily on 'Just Be Good to Green', released as Professor Green feat. Lily Allen. It was his second successive top five hit in 2010, after 'I Need You Tonight' which featured Ed Drewett.
Green's debut album, 2010's 'Alive Till I'm Dead', also featured Ms Allen's vocal talents alongside guest appearances from Emeli Sandé, Fink and Labrinth. All of which help the record to No 2 in the UK album chart.
Follow-up LP, 'At Your Inconvenience', is scheduled for release in August 2011 and the new material will be well rehearsed once the summer season is out of the way.
And Professor Green, aka Stephen Paul Manderson, has announced an extensive autumn headline tour beginning at the Sheffield O2 Academy on 15th October.
The Prof then visits celebrated seats of learning Edinburgh, Manchester, Bristol and many more, before the final date at the Roundhouse in Camden on 2rd November.
Tickets for all gigs are on sale now, priced £16 (£17.50 for London).
