White Lies

You can't accuse White Lies of sitting around on their bums, waiting for the accolades and money to roll in, oh no. In fact, they've been busy converting global audiences to their soft-focus morose soundscapes, with suitable aplomb. They even bothered to chalk-up another Top three album in the shape of "Ritual", which appeared in several formats in several territories.

2011 isn't done with them yet - White Lies are due to support Kings of Leon in Hyde Park (22nd / 23rd June - £50 admission), as well as appearing at numerous festivals of varying sizes - Glastonbury 2011, Reading Festival 2011 and T In The Park 2011 aren't to be sniffed at. When they come to tell their grandchildren about their careers, the little mites will probably accuse them of telling little wh.... oh you've guessed it.

So what better way to wind up the year's successes, than with a spanking huge Wembley Arena date on 17th December? 'Tis indeed true - the band will ring in solstice bells with a special exclusive show. The guests have yet to be announced, but you can head up the stampede for tickets on Friday morning at 9am, with prices set to start at £23.50.
