Reading Festival

THIS OFFER HAS NOW CLOSED

If you want tickets to one of the big summer festivals, then you really need to start thinking about it at least the summer before. Everyone knows that they sell out in record time each year and, for some events, you need to pre-register in any case and even then...

And of course, they're not cheap. A pair of tickets for Leeds/Reading will set you back the thick end of £400. Even if you were prepared to pay the money, getting hold of a ticket is not always that easy with demand being that great.

With the summer festival season bearing down on us like a Muse stage set, you're probably resigned to the BBC's excellent television coverage instead of moshing with the scenesters in an impossibly full tent, right? Wrong.

Reading Festival 2011

The line-up for Reading and Leeds Festival 2011 (26th - 28th Aug) rarely disappoints and this year is no different with The Strokes, Pulp, My Chemical Romance and Muse (with Origin Of Symmetry stage-set) as headliners. Other big names include Elbow, The Streets, 2 Many DJs, Jared Leto's 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, The Vaccines, Jane's Addiction, Interpol, Beady Eye and lots more. Peter Doherty will be headlining the Festival Republic stage along with The Horrors and The Midnight Beast. As always, the Alternative Stage offers some tasty morsels with Tim Minchin, Henry Rollins and Mark Thomas catching the eye.

A pair of Reading/Leeds 2011 ticket are now available with a £100 discount on the pair, costing £289 including booking fees, instead of a shade under £400. Over one hundred pounds off! Click on the Festivals Offer button at the bottom of the page, and use the promotional code: FESTVG100 at the checkout to redeem the offer and take £100 off the total price.

Isle of Wight Festival 2011

Taking place a little sooner than Reading and Leeds, the Isle of Wight festival (10th - 12th June) is one of the summer's big-hitters, boasting some big names once again. Headliners include the Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Pulp, Iggy and the Stooges, Kings of Leon, Courteeners, Seasick Steve and Kaiser Chiefs. An eclectic line-up sees these cornerstones of rock, punk and indie sharing the stage with pop performers like Pixie Lott, Mike and the Mechanics and The Script. And don't miss Two Door Cinema Club, Hurts or We Are Scientists. Or special guest Jeff Beck. Wow.

Shame you can't get to the Isle of Wight festival. It kicks off in a little over three weeks and has a stellar line-up. But it sold out ages go.

Except we have tickets on offer for that, too. Face value tickets were around £188 including fees, but of course they are no longer available. On the secondary market, tickets start at around £240 - £250 per ticket (including fees), meaning we can save you over £30 - £40 on a pair, costing you £454. The Festivals Offer button, below, is where the savings begin! Remember to use the promotional code: FESTVG100 at the checkout to redeem the offer and take £100 off the total price.

All prices quoted are inclusive of booking fees and are for weekend camping tickets. Happy hunting!
