Chipmunk is set to release his second album 'Transition' - the follow-up to 2008's 'I am Chipmunk', which topped the UK R&B charts. In celebration of the release, the rapper will throw a celebration at Proud 2 in the O2 on Friday 22nd April. Proud 2 replaces the club 'Matter', which closed last year.

The album launch party will feature long time cohort Wretch 32 (featured on the new album), Skepta and special guests. Presumably Celebrity Juice host Keith Lemon will not be amongst guests... Tickets for the launch party cost just £10 and are on sale now.

The appropriately-titled 'Transition' features collaborations with US singers/ rappers Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Eric B and Keri Hilson, as well as Jamaican dancehall star Mavado, amongst many others, and will be released in the UK on Friday 15th April.

You can also catch Chipmunk on tour this month and next in clubs across England and Wales - tickets for most cost just £6.
