Here comes a new festival to add to your chock-a-block diaries: the High Definition Dance Festival 2011 will run from 17th to 20th June, in the spectacular surroundings of ... Ilford!

As the spoilt-for-choice punters that you are, I bet you're waiting to be convinced. Well, the festival is a dance music-only weekend, with three arenas for you to choose from (Main, Old Skool and Dubstep) plus a Sunset terrace, and over 100 acts to tickle your senses and moods.

Expect performances by the likes of Freestylers, Scratch Perverts, Miss Divine, Jay Funk, Nicky Fingers, Jilted Generation (Prodigy Tribute), The Loose Cannons, Harry Shotta, MC Skibadee and Nicky Blackmarket on Saturday 18th, with Vula (the voice of Basement Jaxx), Trophy Twins, Seb Fontaine, Plastician, Crazy D, Twista, Bodyrox, DJ Hatcha, DJ Slipmatt and N-Type on Sunday 19th among many others.

Headlining the Main stage on Saturday will be none other than Boy George, whose new album 'Ordinary Alien', released earlier this year, is quite a pleasant surprise, while Australia's Yolanda Be Cool will be in charge of the main stage on Sunday.

The High Definition will also facilitate 3000-capacity camping site for the most hardcore party people, between Friday 17th at 3pm and Monday 20th at midday.

Tickets cost £40 for Saturday or Sunday tickets, with camping for the whole weekend coming in at £100.
