The Southport quintet, fronted by Ian Ball, have announced a new album and ten-date UK/ Ireland tour due to take place between 9th and 21st June 2011, starting with Bournemouth on the 9th, via the cities of Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Cambridge, Newcastle, Belfast, Dublin and Birmingham, before terminating at London's Roundhouse on 21st June.

Gomez boast a fourteen-year-long career, during which time they have released six studio albums, including their Mercury Prize-winning 1998 acclaimed debut, 'Bring It On' and their chart-topping sophomore 2000 album 'Liquid Skin', as well as having shared bills with the likes of Ben Kweller, Dave Matthews Band, and Pearl Jam.

With a new tour comes a new album, and their 'Whatever's on Your Mind' will see the light of day in June to coincide with the tour.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now, costing £17/ £17.50 for regional dates, £20 for London and €26 for Dublin.
