The Summer Series

It's that time of the year again: The Summer Series returns to Somerset House on the Strand, in London from the 7th to the 17th July.

As usual, this year's line-up is a savvy combination of heavyweights and chart-friendly seasonals, with day one seeing the return of Mark Everett and his band Eels as part of their July tour. INXS enthusiast Professor Green, whose second album 'At Your Convenience' is due out in August (one year after his debut 'Alive Till I'm Dead') will play on the 8th, followed by the indie folksters Stornoway on the 9th. Dublin's jazzy rockabilly Imelda May will be entertaining on the 11th, after 'I Need a Dollar' American soul rapper Aloe Blacc on the 10th. Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye play on the 12th and Blondie's almost-annual summer visit to our shores on the 13th. Hurts, Elle Goulding and Mancunian electronic duo Lamb take us into the tail-end of the series, with US alt-rockers My Morning Jacket playing the last date on Sunday 17th July.

Tickets will cost £22.50 - £27.50 depending on the act and go on sale this Friday 1st April, at 9am.
