The Horrors

With Faris Badwan's illustration endeavours put to one side (the guy can draw really cool stuff - so much so, his 'Drawing a Straight Number Nine' exhibition recently travelled to Italy), The Horrors are now back on track. The quintet, who are prepping their third studio album, expected later this year, will preview new material during a handful of shows in June, that will see them play Glasgow's Oran Mor on the 15th, Manchester Academy on the 16th and London's York Hall on the 17th.

The new album, still untitled, should feature the track 'Endless Blue', which The Horrors showcased during several summer festivals last year.

Talking of festivals, the band will make appearances at the Eden Sessions 2011 on 23rd (alongside Primal Scream, at the Wireless Festival 2011 on 3rd July (alongside the mighty Pulp, TV on the Radio, Foals and Metronomy), then they will headline Field Day 2011 in Victoria Park on 6th August, before playing to Reading and Leeds on 26th and 27th August (tickets still available - £82.50 for day tickets, £192.50 for the weekend).

Tickets for The Horrors' three headline shows in June are now on sale costing £10 for Glasgow and Manchester, £15.50 for the London gig.

Field Day tickets are on sale now and cost £39. Wireless tickets for Sunday 3rd July are still available at £48.50 (all prices plus fees).
