Former front-man with The Cardinals and singer-songwriter in his own right, Ryan Adams, will visit our shores to preview some new material from an upcoming album, which will be produced by Glyn Johns (The Stones, The Who, Dylan....).
The alt-rock singer will strip things down and play a string of solo acoustic shows at the end of June, starting with London's Barbican on the 20th, via Brighton , Manchester, Glasgow and ending at Oxford New Theatre on the 26th.
Since The Cardinals went on hiatus in 2009, Adams has dabbled with heavy metal, releasing a whole concept album last year, entitled 'Orion', on his own record label (PAX AM), and contributed to Norah Jones's 2009 album, 'The Fall'. Possibly North Carolina's answer to Jack White in terms of prolificacy (and talent), Adams has released no less than thirteen album in eleven years, both solo and within various outfits from Whiskeytown to The Cardinals.
Tickets for Ryan Adams's mini solo tour, range from £24 to £27.50 regionally, £32.50 for London, and go on sale this Friday 18th March, at 9AM.
