The Kills to send Blood Pressures soaring in the UK with summer 2011 tour and free download

After announcing a one-off gig at London's Heaven on 31st March, which sold out in just a matter of minutes, Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart aka The Kills have just confirmed a series of six shows in the UK in May and June. This will come in support of their much - anticipated fourth album, 'Blood Pressures', slated for a 4th April release - the first single off of which, 'Satellite' came out in January.

The pair will embark on a mini tour which will stop by Manchester on 27th May, Glasgow on 29th May, Leeds on 31st May, Oxford on 1st June, Bristol on 2nd June and finally, the Roundhouse in London on the 3rd. In-between the tour, they will take part in the Evolution Weekender 2011 in Newcastle on Saturday 28th May, alongside the likes of Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Two Door Cinema Club, Hercules and Love Affair and Billy Bragg.

Tickets for The Kills' 'Blood Pressures' tour go on sale on Friday, 18th March, at 9AM, with tickets for the Evolution Weekender already on sale (£25 per day).
