Death Cab for Cutie

The U.S alt. rockers, Death Cab for Cutie, will pay us a visit this summer, as they have announced three dates in July, playing Manchester Academy on the 4th, Nottingham Rock City on the 5th and London's Brixton Academy on the 7th. The foursome, fronted by Ben Gibbard (aka Mr. Zooey Deschanel of She and Him), will also make a couple of festival appearances, notably at the Hop Farm on 1st July and at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on 2nd July, as part of the Foo Fighters' Milton Keynes line-up.

The band are set to release their seventh studio album in fourteen years (having formed in 1997), 'Codes and Keys', on 31st May, which they forecast to be "a much less guitar-centric album than [they've] ever made before," and have likened to 'Another Green World ' by Brian Eno... That's what I call a teaser!

Tickets for the mini tour, go on sale tomorrow, Friday 11th March, at 9.00am, costing £20.00 for Manchester, £18.50 for Nottingham and £22.50 for London.
