Terence Rattigan's acclaimed wartime romantic drama is currently playing at the Theatre Royal in London's Haymarket until 4th June. Directed by Trevor Nunn (the theatre's artistic director) and starring Layer Cake and Factory Girl actress Sienna Miller, the story concerns the lives of a newly-married RAF pilot and his actress wife Patricia (Miller) during the Second World War.

However, a sudden night-raid on Germany splits the two of them up, leaving Patricia to court the unexpected attentions of a Hollywood star, Peter Kyle. Will his air-raid be successful and will she stay loyal long enough to welcome her husband home after the turmoil? The play is based on Rattigan's own experiences in the war and will also star Sheridan Smith and James Purefoy.
