It's not often you see a Ferry in the middle of a forest but you are about to later in the year. Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry continues his considerable rebirth with two new outdoor concerts as part of the Forestry Commision Live Music 2011 series.

Ferry will perform at the Gloucestershire park, the Westonbirt Arboretum on the 15th and also at Thetford Forest on the 16th (in the Suffolk part of its glorious expanse). Tickets will cost £36.50 and will go on sale at 9am this coming Friday (4th March 2011).

2010 saw Ferry issue his long-awaited "Olympia" album which had an impressive guestlist including members of Roxy Music, as well as Groove Armada, David Gilmour, Nile Rodgers and Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead) amongst others. You can expect to hear some of this album, as well as the enviable catalogue of Roxy Music who have just recently finished touring.

As well as these two outdoor concerts, Ferry will also be appearing at the Gorbachev 80th Birthday Gala on 30th March (resales only) and the Kew The Music season on 9th July - tickets for that last one go on sale on Monday 7th March for £37.50 (ably supported by Sophie Ellis-Bextor on that one).
