The feel good tour of spring 2011 - Queens of the Stone Age announce UK leg of European tour

Queens of the Stone Age

Celebrating nearly 15 years of making uncompromising heavy-rock, Queens of the Stone Age's first album (self-titled) will be getting a revisit on 7th March, courtesy of Domino Records. The landmark set was born out of the disbanded Kyuss and features classic tracks such as "How To Handle A Rope", "If Only" and "Walkin' On The Sidewalks", although the re-release will also gather up three extra tracks including the split Kyuss/QOTSA EP issued in 1996.

Naturally, with such an important event taking place, and being Josh Homme, you'd probably want to celebrate this with a live tour, yes? Damn straight, you would - QOTSA are indeed out on the road for an extensive European tour during the spring, including some UK and Ireland action.

London's Roundhouse is the first slot on 17th May, followed by Dublin (19th), Glasgow (20th) and Manchester (21st) with tickets set to go on sale this Friday at 9am. Not surprisingly, we would urge you to practise your speedy clicking skills - this will be a sell-out!!
