How time flies - it seems like only yesterday we were telling you about the 2010 Edinburgh Festival and now, with the days getting longer, we're back again with a series of performances that look set to be one of the highlights of the 2011 Fringe programme.

Ed Byrne has been tickling the laughter-buds with his show "Different Class" during the past year or so but is now ready to unveil his brand new show, "Crowd Pleaser" to another audience of festival-goers. For seven nights from 3rd to 9th August 2011, Byrne will present this new show about his struggles with becoming a grumpy old man and his experiences of life in general, no matter how small they might be.

Observational and sharp-minded, you can guarantee yourself a damn fine time at the Venue 150 at the EICC with tickets now on sale priced at £15.50 - £16.50 - guaranteed a sell-out!

Also announced for the 2011 fringe is similarly-named Irish comedian Jason Byrne (no releation). Keep your eyes peeled for more Edinburgh Festival 2011 news very soon...
